paronoia and schezophrenia episodes

73 yr old white female who has had panic attacks(mainly at night)
on Gabapentin 300mg bid for neck pain
aricept 10mg bid
Valium 2mg bid prn panic attacks
Alzheimers paitent that knows me most days. Has forgotten for current events.

Is there an old tried and true drug that I may request for her. I am a pharmacist of 36years and would like your recommendations.
She dresses herself and is kind and gentle and like to walk outside.
She has severe hearing loss and does wear aid for that.
The fear and panic( now on occasions she see people that are not there) occur most at night.

She did have electro-shock therapy for nervous breakdown 50 years ago.

I am afraid that this question is beyond my level of experience in these matters and am hesitant to suggest anything other than a consultation with a geriatric neurologist and maybe making some nursing changes during the night that might help her with orientation on one hand; or enough sleeping medication so she sleeps throughout the night, this second course being somewhat risky considering her conditions.
