i have been back on wellbutrin (on and off) for the last 2 years for my depression and to help me stay of cigarettes. that  is when i decided to quit smoking pot also. well back on march 2007 i started smoking pot again. the doctor had at that time decided to switch me to efflexor (something like that). for 2 weeks the only thing i did was sleep. sleep and being lazy was the only thing i got from the stuff. no euphoria, no happiness, not what i remember from years ago. at first i thought the stuff was real bad. i quit all antidepressants for 2 months. the grass still did nothing to me (smoking from morning to night). years ago a few puffs would get me stoned for a good hour.... after that i went back on wellbutrin. untill i met an old friend of mine who was able to get me some better stuff. i quit wellbutrin again; it has been 2 months. well i get a better buzz but still not all the good sides of smoking pot... i had not touched the stuff (grass) in almost 2 years; so i doubt that my tolerance to it went over the roof. so how long does wellbutrin stays in your brain? i can't believe it takes longer than 2 months. well today i have decided that smoking pot was a waste of my money. i enjoyed the euphoria, i enjoyed the way it made me feel... if it still did i would continue smoking but now it is not worth it i get very little from it, so what is the point.
i am back on wellbutrin now, sad, very sad.....

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Pot affects so many different chemical systems in the brain, it is hard to say, but certainly pot has been shown to be a depressant over time, so smoking for depression doesn't make a lot of sense.

I'm not a medical professional but,I don't think anyone knows all the beniffits of T.H.C..Reason being, the goverment doesn't want us to know.As for Depression,I know quite a few people that use pot daily, both for Depression&Anxiety disorders. It seems to work well.I don't think I'd use it for Manic-Depression though.  As for using it with other meds.Who knows...
