resperidol

I take resperidol for bi-polar disorder.  Is it an anti-psychotic drug?

It is a powerful mental health drug that is used for a variety of purposes...the most important thing with this drug is to follow the instructions and the warning signs very closely and carefully and check with your doctor often.

Yes this is an anti-psychotic, i take it in very low doses for my anxiety which is severe as an when i need it, in larger doses and taken everyday it's used for bi-polar and other ilnesses such as schizophrenia.

Yes, Risperdal or resperidone is an anti-psychotic.  It can be prescribed for bipolar disorder.
I sometimes use rxlist.com if I want to check out a med.

I believe so. Someone I know takes that for schizophrenia. I'm not A Dr. though. I think if you look up the drug name on-line it will tell you all about it.
