sensory integration

hello we have a 26 mo baby girl who is very concerning to me.  we have been told that she exihbits sensory behavior, and that this may be why she is delayed in so many areas. but they also say she may just be at THSST point in her development.    She does spin, jumpm and swing all being higher faster and better, she does not like alot of load noise inparticulare the vacume.  and when she gets upset she will bang her head on the wall sometimes.  she also seams to get a kick out of hitting, kicking and, biting, and pulling my and toms hair.  she does have a 40% communications, social 28%, cognition 38%, basil being at 0-3 months on thest and peak at 15-18mo could that explain this behavior. or why she thinks it is fun to crash into walls?

Katelynn,

I am not sure what your question is but it does appear that your child may have a developmental disorder.  This question should be directed to your personal physician who can explain the situation to you.  Sorry I could not be more helpful.

Sincerely,

HFHS MD-JM
