I have stopped taking seroquel and valium, which i have been prescribed for years. .. I also stopped taking an anti-depressant, but didnt find it helped me any. Seroquel helped me sleep, valium/xanax helped panic attacks... I don't have any money, no doctor, even emergency wont take me in. I have no choice, please help... Any information would be helpful.

I agree with the advice that you have already received.  If you took the Valium on a periodic basis, there should be no problem.  In other medication is extremely powerful but if you use it only for sleeping you probably will not experience any serious side effects but you should check with the doctor who prescribed for you who may take some responsibility and offer you some of the doses to go off of the drug more slowly.

By the way, I didn't mention Seroquel because I'm not familiar with it.

I agree about it being dangerous stopping medication without medical supervision.
You probably do need support getting through this and all the other stressors.

The doctor has mentioned previously that some mental health centres/ clinics have low or zero fees.  If you are able to find one you may like to inquire about psychotherapy too.

It's important that you get the medication issues sorted asap.

Do you have friends or family that can help you through this stressful time?

If you've been on valium regularly for any period of time, it should never be stopped abruptly.  If one emergency room rejected you, try another, since seizures are a possibility.  If you were only taking it as needed, meaning occasionally, it's less of a danger.  Also try calling the manufacturer, some drug companies have programs to help people who can't afford their medication, and most areas have government community health clinics that help people without resources.  Good luck.  By the way, I'm not the doctor, but he probably won't comment until Monday.
