seroquel

Ive been diagnosed with OCD with anxiety since 1997 and in that time since Ive been on luvox and klonopin and respidol. At one point I stopped taking all the meds ( i weaned off ) and I managed several months without them. I started to get the ocd back with the anxiety and I went back on luvox and klonopin and ive been fine since but Ive been having syptoms (symptoms) again and my doctor decided to start me on seroquel and in time to take me off luvox slowly... Ive been on seroquel  
for about a week starting with 12.5mg and now at 25mg. I sleep fine now wake up a little groggy. My ocd symptoms are reduced suddenly. I got worried last night    last night when I researched seroquel and read it causes cataracts. Im 32 and I dont want to go blind. Im starting to worry and I plan to talk to my doc on monday.

All of the medications you mentioned have some worrisome side effects, but most are reversible, and they actually occur so seldom that we can't be absolutely sure that they are from the medication.  Think about that as you talk to your doctor.
