sexual orientation of stepson

I'm a forty year old woman of hispanic descent who was born in the U.S.  I'm a graduate of the University of Miami and I'm a manager at an accounting firm in Georgia.  Last fall I was getting out of the shower when I noticed that the door was ajar. I was standing there in my birthday suit when my nineteen year old stepson walked in the bathroom!  Unfortunately I panicked, dropped my towel, and had to quickly pick it up off the floor.  I was embarrassed and just asked my stepson to knock next time he enters the bathroom.  
     A couple of months passed and I began to notice some of my lingerie was missing.  A few days later I discovered a pair of my panties in my stepson's room, along with some erotic material. All three magazines featured women over 40, and one in particular featured hispanic women over 40!  I knew that this sort of material existed, but I never expected my teenage stepson to be interested in such material.  Many of the models had looks similar to mine, hispanic women with 39" rear ends.  I realize I may be attractive to men my age but I don't understand a nineteen year old's attraction to older women.
    I'm concerned because my stepson is not dating anyone, and as far as I know hasn't for some time.  Any useful information or advise would be appreciated.

You shouldn't be surprised about the sexual fantasies of a seventeen year old boy...they are many, and diverse, and intense.Nothing is necessarily abnormal.

but that said, you should be careful not to stimulate his interest in any way, and hope that nature takes its course, and he begins to date and move his libido out of the house.

Sometimes when a boy is afraid of being rejected, and avoids peers, he dwells on those in the house.  You should be able to give him maternal closeness without erotic stimulation.
