tingling at testicles and back of legs

Since three years I experience tingling at the back of my legs and at my testicles. I experience this problem only when I sit. So, in the morning I don't experience any problems... However, after sitting down in the car for a while, this problem starts. Also when sitting at work the tingling starts. To release this annoying feeling, I drink more and more alcohol. My doctor (professor) has taken several E.M.G's, of the scrotum, legs and arms and all was ok. I also had N.M.R.'s full spine which are ok too. I read on this site that the tingling could be caused by the abuse of alcohol. Under the circumstance, I mean the negative N.M.R. and E.M.G. (doctors call it negative but in fact that means positive for me), I would think/hope that this problem is not caused by my alcohol abuse. In fact, would it be the alcohol abuse, that would realy be frustrating since I drink to easy the tingling, instead of creating the tingling. I have now started taking medicin, Magnesium + vitamin B. Has anybody answers advice? Also, would you think that, when this problem would be caused by to much alcohol, it would be solved by stopping the alcohol consumption... Any thoughts are more than welcome.

PS: I suffer from low back-pain.

The new medication is because your doctor thinks this might be some kind of neuritis. That is possible. Also, alchohol consumption of the kind you are describing can cause a neuritis, so stopping for a while to see what happens would be a good experiment.  This is a very odd, uncommon symptom, tough to track down, and I would see it as two problems.  You are probably drinking much too much, which is its own health problem. The odd symptom is annoying, but not dangerous, and will take time to figure out what it is.

What is your age? It sounds as if you may need to see a Ureologist. Could it possibly be prostate cancer? If so you're lucky because that is one of the most curable cancers there are. If you would like to talk to me further about this matter email me at "***@****"
