i have been taking klonopin 3x a day at 1mg how do i ween of of it

my family doctor put me on it for anxiety once aday  the therapist then put me on it 3x aday now i take prestiq with it and i want to take just one pill   all my anxiety and depression started when i hurt my back with some herniated discs not being able to do the things im acustom to doing

You received some good advice from Paxiled....it also depends on how long you have been taking it, and what tendency you might have to seizures, which are possible if you wean too quickly....let your doctor help you, and think of the weaning of at least 3 weeks, the last week on the lowest possible dose every third day before you stop altogether...and ask your doctor re antiseizure medication for the last week, and week following.

Who put you on it?  Hopefully a psychiatrist, who should set your weaning schedule and monitor you.  Make sure ahead of time he or she understand tapering, if not, find a different one.  It should be the speed that suits you, not some formula that supposedly fits everyone.
