x-ray effects

Dear Doctor:
    
    Our office is just beside a dental clinic where dental x-rays  are performed. A wooden door separates the dental clinic and my table in our office.

    I am anxious whether these x-rays can penetrate the wooden door since I am aware of the harmful effects of x-rays to one's health.

It seems that you are having anxiety about the possible harmful effects of exposure to x-rays at work. I am unable to comment on whether the location of your office places you at risk for exposure to x-rays. You may find it helpful to discuss your concerns with your employers and/or an occupational medicine specialist.
