zoloft/headache

I have been on Zoloft for about two years and then decided that it was something I didn't need as some of the stess factors in my life were no longer there.  I talked to my doctor and she said it was OK to stop and I weaned myself off of them.  However, looking back I realize that about a month after I quit taking the zoloft,  I began having pain in both temples when I tried to cough or sometimes just bend over to pick up something.  I have had CT scans of my head and sinus.  I have also had an MRI, MRA and MRV of the brain.  All they showed was that I had some spots on my brain which the doctor said was from little strokes.  I am sixty four and he said that most people my age has had mini strokes of sort that cuases the spots on the brain.  So far no one has come up with the solution for the pain in my temples when I cough or even clear my throat.  Upon reflection I am wondering if perhaps getting off the Zoloft has something to do with this pain.  Can you give me any ideas?  Thanks

I don't know why you are having these pains, but I can tell you that is almost certainly not because of the zoloft.
