Withdrawal/Side Effects

Hi All its Lorraine
Been dealing with stupid endocronologists, Dr's and someone who calls himself a proffesseur more like two cretins!!!
I have under-active thyroid which causes hormonal depression so my Dr sends me to the hospital were they focus on the depression and change my medication from 150 mg's of venlafluxine to 20 mg's of cipramil. Then they effected my periods, homones, which is a side effect!!!! didn't they know thyroid deals with the endocrine system!!!
I am now on 75mgs of Dosulepin. My head has been all over the place and it doesn't help that I am due on.
Maybe these Dr's are trying to tip me over the edge!!!!!!!
Please comment, and if you know anything about the one's I'm on now that would be very helpful!!
Many Thanks
Lorraine xx

Personally, I don't recommend Dosulepin for someone with hormonal and thyroid issue due to the norepinephrine (noradrenaline) reuptake inhibition. I would rather stay in the SSRIs class. Discuss with your doctors or find a new one.
