Hi, you sound like a very bright and intuitive kid. If you're depressed you should take actions to combat it. Try to get exercise every day. Talk with family and friends. Just make connections. When I am depressed I just want to stay in bed or on the couch all day. That's the worst thing to do, I know. So I force myself to get going and go for a long walk or hike and I DO FEEL BETTER. Write in a journal to put your feelings down on paper. But you should also talk to your parents about how you feel. They love you and need to know what's going on. Just come out and say it "I think I'm depressed and I want to talk to a doctor about it". It might be hard, but you'll be sooooo glad you did it. Just opening up about it to your parents will make you feel better. Hopefully, your parents will see that you indeed need to see your MD or a psychologist and will be as supportive as you hope. What do you think their reaction will be? Please take my advice and don't let this linger. You're a kid and should be having fun. You will once you get some treatment for this. Don't waste another day feeling this way. Get after it and you'll feel better before you know it. Good luck and keep us informed on how you're doing. And come back here for support whenever you feel you need it. Big hug! You're going to be fine!!

Some teen can have a so called teen depression. Counseling usually work great or the depression just pass on it's own.
You can probably seek help at your school, there's supposed to have a psychologist for you at school.
Talk to your parents about it and at school you could talk to someone in charge who could suggest you to the psychologist. It can be a teacher, the nurse, principal... You can have a parent to call at school for you if you are embarrassed in some ways.

Who diagnosed you? If a therapist or psychiatrist diagnosed you it would be best to follow up with what they suggested. If someone else suggested this might be what's going on it would be best to follow up with someone with specific knowledge in this regard. What you describe sounds like depression although only a psychiatrist would understand it in full but it would definitely be worth following up on. If your parents aren't able to understand best to speak to a counselor and they could provide an appropriate referral from there.
