About fifteen years ago I took Elavil for sleep and depression after my divorce. Is this addicting? NarcoticDrug abuse? Will it be helpful to me while I am trying to get back to a sleep cycle and normalNormal saline flush life? I dont want to get addicted to anything else, but would like to get some sleep and some normalcy. Anyone have advice?
Thanks.
Hi Tray....NO elavil is NOT addicting and NO it is NOT a narcoticDrug abuse....
Elavil is an antidepressant, a very old one that does have many side effects tho, at low doses they do use it to settle enough to sleep better. So don't have any worries of trying it again and see if it helps with your sleep problems.
good luck
