Can anyone help?

I was diagnosed with depression approx 4/5 years ago and currently take 40mg fluoxetine daily.
I live with my partner who is very supportive and caring.
However I was made redundant in March 2010 and was receiving job seekers allowance (contribution based) but I was only entitled to this for 6 months.
I have been advised that we are now entitled to nothing - no assistance with mortgage, council tax etc.
Does anyone know where I can get any advice or help in relation to money as on top of my depression I now have severe money worries and I am scared that we could loose our home.
How on earth are we expected to manage on just one low wage?????

LaurenJane has given you good advice.  I assume you are in the UK like us.  Citizens Advice is the place to go for any help.  I got invalidity benefit fort a few years when my depression prevented me working.

I find it hard to believe no one will help you.  Who told you you were not entitled to anything?

Make an appointment now with your local Citizens Advice Centre.
