Celexa and Memory Loss

Have there been any studies relating  memory loss and Celexa? I began taking Celexa at the age of 16. I am 26 years old and I am so frustrated with my memory that it brings me to tears everyday. I went off Celexa for a few months with Doctors supervision and noticed an improvment with clarity and memorization; however, I had to get back on it because I was to emotional off of it. I am having more difficulty now with spelling, simple conversations, and even more cognitive issues with understanding what people are saying.

Please help. Tell me if you have heard similar cases. If so, how many? Please help. This is hurting my marriage.

Look up the medication website. This can happen as a temporary side effect at times. If you can't tolerate Celexa don't go off it. Ask your psychiatrist about other options. Google "Depression Central" for more information.
