Celexa genericcitalopram HBR 20 MG

Can anyone tell me a bit about this med?  I have some and am desperately depressed right now and have been for over 6 weeks. I feel like I am locked inside myself.  Suicide thoughts all day long.  Can't even keep my teeth brushed or clean my house.

I have been taking Wellbutrin for 8 weeks but obviously it is not working or is working against me.

Did take Lexapro but went thru hell getting off of it.  

I don't want to go thru misery being ON one of these drugs but I need to get on something.

My psychiatrist prescribed me Celexa a few weeks ago.  So far, for me, it has been great.  My libido is not affected and I am starting to feel better after 13 days.  Be careful taking all of these at once.  Zoloft is a good one and begins working quickly.  Is a MD prescribing these meds?  Wellbutrin only worked for me when I tried to quit smoking like 7 years ago.  (I am not a doctor so please don't take this as official advice).

Thank you so much for answering. I didn't think anyone would see my post. I am sure confused as to what to take.
I am back down to 1 Wellburtin so I can get off it and onto something else. I feel like a test rat.  I read where some people take abilify or something else along with the Wellbutrin. I liked it due to no side effects. Just wish it would have worked.  Most every thing else makes me dizzy and miserable.

I may try the celexa when I get off the WB.  I will call my Dr....just an MD and see if he wants to add something to it.

what should i look for when it comes to side effects with celexa i am on 10 mg to start and than moving up to 20 mg in a week. and how long does it take to get into your system
