I probably wasn't clear enough. Celexa stays in your system for a while, so dropping down a day or 2 doesn't make any difference in mood. The drop-downs and move back ups that I had in mind were to cut my average amount in my system so when I finally stuck with 20 it wouldn't be a shock. It worked.
I was on Celexa 4 years ago and quit after a year. My anxiety stayed away for the next 3.5 years. I am familiar with Celexa effects and am not taking any other meds.
Everyone with anxiety that has settled down needs to constantly monitor their emotions as I am, to determine how much med is needed. Eventually if I am feeling fine I will go off the drug completely.
Be careful with lowering doses of meds and the increasing them again, you need to work with your doctor when changing the dose of your meds.
