As some of you may know, I have been diagnosed with a depression disorder and anxiety. This past year has been a roller coaster of my own making, and some of you may be aware of that as well.
My wife pointed out to me the other day that I am typically depressed this time of year. I hadn't recognized any symptoms of depression setting in as of yet, but I was wondering.... how many of you feel especially depressed this time of year and how do you cope?
I too suffer from depression & it always starts getting really bad when summer is over. My
psychiatrist has diagnosed me with SAD or Seasonal affective disorder which happens from lack of light. There is a lamp that you sit under for a period of time that mimics the sunlight.
Perhaps this is something you could look into.Best of luck to you.
