Compulsive Liar

I have a bad habit of lying.  I always promise myself not to do it again but I always fail as it comes naturally.  Is there anyone out there who have successfully tackled this habit?  In addition to creating grief to my love ones, this makes me very depressed.  I am after constructive tips to help me save my relationship.

I don't lie a lot, but every once in a while one will slip out.  Maybe 5 times a month.  I don't do it on purpose.  It just happens.  Most of the time for stupid things that don't matter anyway.  As I have dealt with my other mental illnesses, this bad habit has gotten better.  Yes, it used to be worse.  Talk therapy helps, but I have even noticed that I have let a lie or two slip there too.  Sorry I couldn't be of too much help.  Just wanted you to know you are not alone.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

It is imperative to explore Energy Psychology Therapy in conjunction with Archetypes.
Seek a Therapist in your area who has backround in dealing with Archetypes.
It is not a situation that your Intellect can "resolve".
These "collective" structures in the subconscious, must be dealt with, before  healing can
take place. Your issue is placed in the "Communication" Archetypal Cycle, in the Shadow image  ( the negative side) of the Archetype.

Blessings,
