I am currently taking lexapro (15mg), and I too get periods of being very tired. I have not taking amitriptyline, but I know that this is an antidepressant that can be very sedating (it is often used as a sleep aid). What does of each meds are you taking? Amitriptyline is also used to treat migraine headaches, so it seems to be helping you in that regard. Have you spoken to your doc about the tiredness? He/she may be able to adjust your dosage.

It makes you yawn, but revs you up if anything. The yawning can take months to go away, if it does. Are you getting enough sleep?
