Depression/Insomnia/Sexual Problem

Hello, I have depression and also insomnia problems. I have been taking Ambien for the sleep problems. I was taking Wellbrutin at first, it didnt work, and now am taking Zoloft.

Well, my ability to orgasm has completely disappeared. Even if I am kinda able to, it hurts. What happened? Is it the ambien, or the antidepressants? I dont even really get in the mood anymore. I'm not old, just 18, I'm supposed to be a horny teenager, and yet its just gone. Please explain?

That sounds like the Zoloft which is a SSRI class of anti-depressant. I had the exact same side effects when I was on it so don't worry it's very common. You may want to wait a few weeks for it to kick in all the way and see if the side effects go away or you can try another SSRI.

Its definitely the Zoloft I would guess.  Give it time and hopefully it will get better.  This comes from a person who has experienced the same problem and it got better.

Could it possibly be the Ambien? I was having problems with this before while I was taking the wellbrutin but it seems to have escalated.
