Someone needs to get the attention of her parents.  Her parents may be busy but they need to know what is happening with their daughter, they do love her. Maybe you could talk to your school counselor and ask them to get involved with talking to her parents, if not this, then maybe write them an annonymous letter explaining how concerned you are.  I feel the school is the best route, and if you know who her counselor is, speak directly with them about this.  Parents can become very busy, and it can take something like the well-being of their child to make them realize what is happening with them being so busy.  You're a good friend, can you talk to your parents about this?  Maybe they can help?  Go to the school principal if need be, her parents need to know what is happening.

I don't know how things are done there.  Maybe the best thing is to take her to the hospital and give them her aunt and parent's contact information.  If things are this serious with her, this would be best.  Good luck to both of you.
