Dissassociation

Every so often I shut down with 'dissassociation'.  It comes on sometimes suddenly, sometimes I know its coming on and I cannot stop it.....I HAVE BEEN IN THERAPY  for years.
No medication stops the onset....No medication brings me out of it...I use to become suicidal  when I was coming out of it...Now I just cry...I have grown twins who are supportive WHICH is one of the ONLY reasons I do not comit suicide BUT I feel I'm on the edge at this time...I feel somewhat out of control...My therapists  calls me..and it helps  but sometimes I will not ans the  phone or just feel totlly helpless?
     DO I HAVE TO LIKE THIS  FOREVER?

You say no medication helps - are you on any now?  How many have you tried?  I know it's frustrating but you have to keep at it until you find one that DOES help.  And give it time to work.  I have tried so many medications that I can't remember all the names or even how many there have been.  But I FINALLY found a combination that works.  Just keep fighting and don't give up until you find out the medicine(s) that work for you.  It's different for everyone.  Hang in there and lots of luck.

And if you are feeling suicidal PLEASE get help IMMEDIATELY!!
