Does anyone know if klonopin will treat anxiety along with depression

by Jimbo49, Dec 08, 2007 09:20AM
Hi, I have tried a few different meds lately, buspar, lorazapam, paxil, celexa, fluoxetine and they all seem to help only a little or not at all.
I was wondering if klonopin would help with the anxiety and take away the depression that seems to have been created because of it?
I am currently on lorazapam and fluoxetine and the more I take them the worse I feel.
Could I just switch to klonopin or would I have to wean off the others first. I have only been on the fluoxetine for a month at a low dose and the lorazapam off and on.

I currently take Lexapro and Klonopin. Klonopin does nothing for depression, but will reduce the anxiety. I was on Paxil for years, had lots of problems with it.

One thing you should know is what works for one person may not work for another. Keep up the good fight until you get a combo that works for you.
