Mostly it is the dislike for yourself that keeps you from loving the ones around us.I know with the depression for me ,I just didnt feel like loving anything.Hang in there an dlearn to love your eslf then the love for others will follow

i mean i like myself.  My depression came from stress related events.  Its just when I was depressed I couldn't feel love for anything.  Like I know I love my wife.  But I couldn't feel it.  That goes for my family as well.  I couldn't feel the joy of love.

I know what you feel like. I'm hoping its just another type of anxiety attack. I love my wife. I know you don't fall out of being deeply in love with someone in seconds. Defiantly when they aren't doing anything to hurt you.
