Dysthymia and health insurance

I am applying for new health insurance. I take Prozac and Welbutrin for dysthymia. How can I communicate to the insurance company (and underwriter) that I am not seriously ddepressed and not suicidal. I am not certain the interviewing nurse (or whomever) understands that dysthymia is a type of depression on the mild/chronic end of the spectrum. For me, the medication has been the key--for about 12 yrs.

I honestly think your physician might be better at communicating it. You can either have him write a short note or speak to them directly.
