Food has power. Sugar is addictive. Just like many other things. Have you read on Dr Gould's journals? There are great advice there to help you stand strong to this choice that's about to take shape in you. You don't want to eat all day. Oh, my life has gone in periods with not eeating, then I over-eat for periods again. Once it is about sugar, I am addicted in 2-3 days and can't let go of it even if I know deep down that I should eat fruits or something else.

First up - define to yourself what you mean is a healthy enough diet. It can be added into your diet step by step - so unnoticed that you eat a good breakfast in the morning and try to get the meals fixed to 3-4 hours in between them. The basic plan is to eat 4 times a day. If you need to eat more often, you do of course need to eat a little less.

When you go to the grocery store, you choose the healthy stuff. That's more or less the only things you need to get with you home. Should be. Make a menu for a few days, shop according to it. Do you cook your own meals? Have you been to the other forum in here called "Healthy cooking"? The place is probably filled to the range with good recipes.

That's at least where I guess you have to start: 4 times a day, starting off with a breakfast. When you have come that far, you can loose weight again. Diet pills work, but only as long as you take them. The moment you don't have more diet pills, you still realize that you eat the same stuff and just as often.

Then one can of course ask: What are the reasons you eat? It is maybe something a mental health care profesional can help you define?

My eating disorders were based on anxiety. They still are, even if I don't feel anorexic/bulimic anymore. I've just got to be careful and not treat myself with a candybar other than once a week. Everything is a healthy thing, as long as in the appropriate amounts.
