Generic Lamictal vs Real Lamictal

Yes I had that problem specifically with Lamictal and it can happen with generics in general most often as there is a slight variance in the dose as my psychopharmocologist informed me.

I have had problems with the generic for Lamictal and have found the brand to be a lot more effective. My Dr. is no longer prescribing the generic for her patients because most have had issues with the generic.

Yes, in fact my Psychiatrist even told me this is very true. That is why he has me taking double the Generic to compensate for it's lower dosage.

I would like to take the name brand, but it's so expensive. So instead I just take more of the generic Lamotragine.
