Generic Wellbutrin

I started 75 mg of generic wellbutrin 2 days ago and was wondering if anyone could tell me about there experience with this i suffer from anxiety and depression. I am having really bad anxiety and i dont know if it is from the medication or me worrying about taking it.  How long does it take take effect? anything anyone could tell me would be great. Thank you

My Dr switched me over to generice Wellbutrin last week after having tried the SR version.  I quit the SR version in early January, see my post in the archives section, due to a bad itching sensation.  I quit the generic Wellbutrin on Sunday.  The itching is back along with a sunburn sensation on my skin, which comes before the itching, my anxiety is as bad as ever with the med just covering it over but not getting rid of it and I was becoming very irritable and angry which has never been my nature.  The "shakes" aka tremors are back.  I had real bad shakes when on Lexapro so my Dr took me off of that and put me on Wellbutrin since I wasn't responding well to the SSRI's.  I'm beginning to think that the med's aren't worth the effort.

I am not taking it any more i had a really bad panic attack and called my doctor and she told me to stop taking it. i am not going to try any other medications, i will try to work threw it on my own. thanks for your helphttp://www.medhelp.org/tags/show/7595/wellbutrin

I had the shakes while taking wellbutrin after about 1 week of the drug daily. I felt like my heart was racing and speeding , and I could feel it all through my body. I think some people just have that reaction to this type of med. You might want to consider asking your doctor about chantix, but that depends on whether or not your taking anything else, and if you do go that route, do your homework.,,, ALL of these drugs have potentially seriouse side effects that should be carefully monitored by somone close to you most the time so they may report any strange behavior incase you cant.

Hi.  I've been on wellbutrin 300 mgs. now for 51 days (but who's counting :-)).  I was weaned off of effexor and have been off of that for 11 days.  Have been horribly depressed, anxious, angry....worse than ever.  I hope this will get better soon....maybe I am still going through effexor withdrawal?  How are you doing?
