Geodon and ankle swelling

I have just started on Geodon 20 mg every day, and am noticing very severe ankle and foot swelling. My EKG before beginning the drug (for QTc) was normal and I have never had heart failure. I am 53 and have had no changes in my other medications. Would Lasix help?
