HELP Vertigo and depression

I have vertigo soooo bad and not one Dr. can figure out why and I am getting very depressed.. I can't even go out to the stores or exercise or play with my grandchild because I get so lightheaded and at times I feel I could pass out. It makes me so sad. I know it is hurting my husband too. I fell sick all the time and never do anything social because it is hard to walk because it messes with my gait. Any one out there like me.  Help!

Thank you so much for replying!
I started getting it over 10 years ago and it just gets worse, some days are ok but as a rule I have it everyday. I have so many triggers looking up, looking down, shopping is the worse. Did it make you feel weak in your legs? I saw an ENT a few years back and have had an MRA & MRI recently.I just feel sick all the time and I cant afford to jump Dr. to Dr.with no relief.

Again thank you

Vertigo can come out of the blue for no apparent reason, and will disappear just as quickly.  You don't say how long you've had this, that would help us to help you.  I know vertigo can last from days to months....but it will go away.  Normally there are triggers, like tilting your head a certain way, so determine what your trigger is and avoid doing whatever it is.  I just got over a bout of it, and the dizziness came when I tilted my head back, once I realized this, it was easier to get through it.  It lasted about 3 weeks.  If you haven't seen an ENT, you should do this to make sure nothing is wrong with your inner ear, which is normally the culprit with vertigo.  Best wishes, I hope you get some relief.
