Help , ime scared and worried about myself

every day of my life , i wake up and well , there's nothing to look forward to. even if there is i just dont have the emotions in my head to react to it.ime 14 and school has just come to an absolute holt for me , the same stuff every day of my life , go to school , in lessons my teachers speak to us about what to do then thats it , everyone else is getting on with there work and ime sat there like , what did she ask us to do ? its just as if ime trapped in my own head.

even when i engage in conversation with someone , its just doesnt feel as if ime really there , just pretending to laugh and enjoy what they said when my head is just at a holt.

ime really worried about myself now. all i do all day is sadden myself and keep my emotions balanced by listening to music which just keeps me on edge.

I really recommend with my whole heart at the age of 14 that you talk to an adult about this that you are close to.  Your mother for example.  I know that teens sometimes have difficult parental relationships but your parents will want to know about this.  Maybe talking to a counselor will help or some things put into place in your life could get your emotional health back on track.  Your parents are the ones to help with this.

There is a very defined criteria for depression.  You mention things that fit the profile but there is a specific element to being diagnosed with depressioon to keep in mind.  You must suffer it every day for a certain period of time.  Having periods of the blues is not uncommon especially in the teen years.  With all that goes on during that time and physical things such as changing hormones, it is rough on a young person.

Your parents can help you determine what the next step is to feeling better.  And you WILL feel better.  Peace and luck
