Help me.......I want my mind and body back

What herbs or vitamins can i take to counter act effexor xr side effects? I'm so tired of that medicine and having trouble getting off of it. I'm on 300 mg and went to 150 and now 75 going for none. I hate that med and hope no one else goes on it. Its awful. I have gained so much wait that I'm depressed over that. I want my body back and want to be healthy. My dreams are absolutely horrifying right now. PLEASE HELP!

so sorry your going through that, my dr tried to put me on it tuesday this week i said no, i dont want any drug that i have to ween off of, they have lots side affects and i just wont do them, my dr gave me ativan for when i need it, thats all i take it helps me so much, there are days i fight the anxieity all day but i rather do that then stuck on a drug that mess with your mind and thats what they all do i read about them no thank you i not want. and i have friends who have been on them and now off say they will never go on a nother everyday drug like that. i know you can call your drug store and they can tell you how to ween off, does the dr know you are , they can tell you . i wish you lots luck, and i hope when your off you do ok if not go back dr tell him give you something to help ease the days . good luck .
