that's hard to say. are they helping you? if so why would you want to stop? i've never heard one year is the limit. all people are different and some need them for a short time while others need them for much longer, possibly for life. i hope this helps some. take care. remar

But if you feel good and don't have another diagnosis other than depression, you may have beaten it and probably can stop medication. Just don't do it on your own. Make sure you speak to your doc first. You may have to be slowly tapered off the meds.
