The above is good info, but you sound like you abruptly reduced your mirtazapine by quite a bit. Is this true? You always need to slowly taper down on these drugs or they can pack a wallop of a withdrawal for many people. That sounds like what's happening to you. Did you do this with a regular doc, or a psychiatrist? Whichever, you need to get in touch and bring this up. If your doc pooh poohs withdrawal, you need a new doc. You'd be surprised how few of them take this into any consideration at all. By the way, pharmacists do know about dosages and contraindications, but because they don't work with patients they are likely not to advise much on what might be happening to you and will refer you to your doctor. If your doctor is a regular doc and not a psychiatrist, the doc might not know much about these drugs either, so you do need to be your own advocate.
Hi there. You should take Valium only under doctor's supervision and instruction. You are best to get information like this from your doctor or pharmacist. You are wise to be cautious I am not sure what mg. strength of Valium they gave you, but would advice that you check in with your doctor for specifics for yourself. Good luck
