IS IT DEPRESSION

IS IT DEPRESSION

I was wondering if my diagonses for depression could actually be bipolar, as some days i feel very sociable and happy and just very quickly with the wrong thing said no matter how big or small, i go into a deep downer, and could insuly anyone at a drop of a hat.  I get very manic sometimes also, but i call them urges, like when i am in a supermarket, i will throw stuff or kick stuff over and find it funny, or shout things out in public just for a giggle, but i am 35 years old a no that it is very childish and immature.  But when I am having a bad day I will be very quiet and reserved and find innapropiate behaviour a disgrace. I also act very spoilt and really go to town when i dont get my own way, and find comfort in chatting to myself, although i dont hear voices.  I have been diagnosed with BPD, AND Anxiety, depression.  But I am unable to except this diagnoses, as i feel my behaviour is a bit strange.  I like people sometimes, but hate them the next.  My sexdrive is very low, and my spending can get pretty silly sometimes, i have no fear of running up a phone bill and not caring where the money comes from, im only happy when i am spending, i also have great plans when my girl goes to school to do a few volunteer jobs and go to college, but i know i wont,,,i just dont know what my deal is, thanks for reading, getting slighty manic now, and could go on forever,,,,,

The quick changes in mood are not related to bipolar but more to BPD. Passive-Agressive personality disorder is just another possible diagnosis but I see all the mentioned behavior are related to BPD and depression.

Borderline personality disorder

Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a psychiatric diagnosis in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV Personality Disorders 301.83) (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition) that describes a prolonged disturbance of personality function characterized by depth and variability of moods. The disorder typically involves unusual levels of instability in mood; "black and white" thinking, or "splitting"; chaotic and unstable interpersonal relationships, self-image, identity, and behavior; as well as a disturbance in the individual's sense of self. In extreme cases, this disturbance in the sense of self can lead to periods of dissociation. These disturbances can have a pervasive negative impact on many or all of the psychosocial facets of life. This includes difficulties maintaining relationships in work, home and social settings. May lead to suicidal attempts or completed suicide, especially without proper care and effective therapy.
