Im angry all the time.

I am on Nortriptyline, a low dose drug to help prevent my migraines (which have been crippling my life) but I find myself angry all the time. Im not sure if its just while Ive been on this drug but long before then I think too.
I yell at my hubby about the smallest things and fly off the handle for no reason at all. I pick fights just because.
Ive had enough.
Please does anyone have any insight to this...

The nortriptyline can make you feel tired during the day which can make you irritable. It can be an underlying cause related to your psych, a personality disorder for example.

There are many medications for migraines and some are less, see not sedating at all.

I would first try to see if it's the notriptyline or another problem. For that you need to be off the drug which would make you migraines more likely to make you more irritable to you should tapper the nortriptyline then get on another drug and see. Maybe try some day without drugs and see but like I said migraines are very likely to make you irritable.
