I'm having a sudden ED after Effexor

I took Effexor for almost a year and stopped it last May. I had slight problem with erection, when I stopped it. However, around a couple of Months from stopping, I had serious soft erection and still wondering if this is due to Effexor or the stress associated with my work, which increased a lot in the last two months or me masturbating 4-6 times a week.

So I'm stopped maturbating for the last two weeks and have modified diet to include Watermelons and Oysters but there is no difference so far. I also seriously lack the sexual desire...

Did anyone develop similar problems? Can anyone say the maximum duration for which the side effects due to Effexor could last?

Is there any way to reduce stress without taking Effexor, I don't want to go that route again.... I'm just 30.

My husband was put on Celexa 40 mg. Before he was put on the medication he had no problem getting in the mood to have sex. After being put on the medication, it took forever for him to have an orgasm, and sometimes couldn't at all. He's has been off Celexa for almost 2 months and we now have sex all the time it seems. He can get in the mood very easily and can have one quickly. Antidepressants mess with you libido and sexual desire. After being off of them for a while it should go back to normal, if not then maybe it's the stress in your life. Finding other ways to deal with sress, like taking a walk or working out can help.

There's a new drug out called Viibryd. An SSRI. They are saying that it's the new ssri that doesn't have the sexual side effects.
