In the news: Do antidepressants work?

Medication definitely does something, this I know.  I question how effective it is, and the methods by which it prevents my depression.

I think in your case you are happy with the meditation thing, Feb.19 comment. You should forget the pills and work on that since it works so well for you. Most people can't get any help from that, but you have that down perfect. :)

My meds work I am not going to quit taking themLet me ssee hmmmm bi polar in j ail no meds.meds living normal happy life. I will take the meds. gaaa this is just what we need for all the med naysayers to get on this bandwagon.

Thanks, Dr. Choi.  I think that mildly depressed people should try to alleviate their depression with exercise, diet, therapy, and socialization first--before starting an AD.
