Intense pain at the bootom of my stomach. Any ideas what it could be?

Don't really have a clue what it could be but I have an intense pain which is made slightly worse when moving or sneezing. It is mostly focussed on the bottom of my stomach but also seems to be painful around about the sides of my ribs. It's on and off and comes back every few days. I have just started a course of medication called Setraline could that be causing anything? Please respond if you have any ideas would be much appreciated

Yes, the medication could be a cause, though it also might not be the cause.  Antidepressants can be hard on magnesium absorption, which is essential for relaxing muscles and proper digestion.  But as I say, it could be something else, too.  One thing also common to medications are stomach problems.  If you just started the med, and nothing else you can think of happened and this has never happened before, well, it's often been suggested to me that one thing following the newest thing you've done differently is rarely a coincidence.

Try sipping water all day to see if diluting your stomach acid helps. This low tech suggestion from a gastrointestinal actually works, sometimes.
If it comes more often than every few days or doesn't settle down in a few weeks, then I  wouldn't wait too long without seeing your doctor though, as it might need attention.
