Is anyone else on Nardil and successful with it?

I have been on Nardil, the MAOI, for over 20 years, and my depression has only been helped, at best, 70% of the time. When it stops working, my doc has added mood stabilizers or other types of drugs, but nothing seems to help. The best I can do is to increase my daily dosage from 90mg/day to 105mg, and then the side effects get too much to deal with after a week or so.

I have been told my depression is refractory, but that doesn't make me feel too good. I need to find a qualified psychopharmacologist in NYC who really knows MAOIs. (I was on Parnate once and it made me feel like I had ants crawling under my skin.). My psychopharmacologist of 20+ years lost his license 8 years ago, and I've had to deal with that loss in addition to all the other **** in my life.

Help.
