Is there a med that has limited sideaffects?

I know I'm probably dreaming.  LOL

I've been struggling with depression for the last 3 years or so.  it's gotten to the point where I don't want to do anything.  Even making a simple phone call gets put off for weeks.  

I've tried Welburtin in the past, but after 4 days, it triggered anxiety attacks that would last 1-2 hours.  I've been gun shy ever since.

but I'm to the point where I need to do something.  I feel like I'm spiraling downward and I can't stop.

So I guess, I'm wondering if there is a med that does not have withdrawl (withdrawal) symptoms like Zoloft, has minimal side affects (especially sexually), and will actually work!

Am I dreaming?

I know the suggestion will be to talk to my dr.  But I don't want to bother if there is nothing to help me.  I'm looking for some real world experience with the different drugs.  My dr downplayed Welbutrin and a year later, I'm still suffering from anxiety attacks that I had never had previous to taking that drug for only a week.  :(

You seem to have the same dream I have haha. And its a dream! I have not found that wonder drug yet my friend. But I can give you my experience. But as I am sure you like I have heard a 1000 times.... every drug is diffrent for everyone.. With that said after trying effexor..cymbalta and others the only one I did not have that "bad" of sexual side affects is Lexapro 10mg... and it seems to be working well. I have seen others say it was the worst for them.
I have also heard of wellbutrin doing that, I hope it goes away for you. If i see anything on it I will let you know.

I know how you feel, and it will take time to find the right stuff that works for you.. it took me over a year...
