Job related depression

Hi I'm a 24yr old male. My problem is that I don't like the job I am doing. I feel really bad to go to job when I get up in the morning. I quit a job that I liked due to some personal reasons and joined the job where I'm currently working which has made the experience even more painful as I'm hating my current job. I always feel unhappy with a thousand thoughts crossing my mind and I don't feel hungry at all. I try to be normal but sometimes it feels its too difficult to handle. The thoughts suddenly start rushing into my mind making connections with different bad feeling I've experienced over the years at which time I feel very low and after few hrs I'll become normal again. This has been happening for about 6 months now and I now feel I've lost my self-confidence to do anything as I'm afraid to take a decision fearing it may backfire! (I am afraid to apply for other jobs as I'm afraid it may be worse there). I don't intend to meet a psychiatrist due to personal reservations.

Please suggest what I can do to come out of this and lead a normal life again and be happy and get back my self-confidence. Thank u.
