Just started Lexapro...would love to hear positive experiences.

I feel groggy and out-of-sorts on it, plus I have heartburn and nausea taking it. Will this go away and if so how long before I feel like eating and have a little bit of a clearer head?  Thank you

She told me to stop taking it, but she also said she hasn't heard of those symptoms before.

So spacey and can't concentrate. Is that normal? Day 2 of Lexapro

I wouldn't think it's normal, and I advise you to check with your pharmacist or doc to see if it is likely to go away. I only used a few SSRIs and never experienced anything like that.
You are supposed to take an SSRI for at least half a year, so you need one that allows you to do your normal work and live as close to a normal life as you can. Each person has to find one that both works for them and that has livable side effects.
On the other hand are you sure this is what is making you feel groggy? I am no expert (which is why I again strongly recommend you call a professional like your druggist or doctor) but it seems early for that much effect unless the med is totally wrong for your brain.
You can go to the manufacturer's site for info about effects, if you don't have the insert they gave you with your script.

Also, I would love to hear how long Lexapro took to work for anyone? Waiting is the hardest part, I just want to feel better. Any good personal experiences? Thank you
