Lexapro Personality Effects?

I take Lexapro 10 mg in the morning, and before that, at night. I am 16 and genetically female. I used to love to flirt and be with my boyfriend, I was depressed but it wasn't as bad. And it used to be really bad. Now, it's worse. Like, it's either that or I feel neutral or like empty. Like nothing at all. I feel like my personality is changing, I feel less creative too.  Any reason? Or what are the effects? Is this common? Where my personality is changing.

fluvoxamine is a famouse/safe drug for developing brains under the  age of 22 ...i dont know  if Escitalopram(lexapro) has the same effect and benefit...the problem i had with most SSRIs(common form of antidepressents) is personality changes and ou of body expriences...( in high doses ) so you shouldnt be worry so much ...

Yes, this is common, and antidepressants aren't usually recommended for someone your age because your brain is still developing.  I would ask, how serious is the problem, have you tried therapy or did you just turn to medication or a quick way out?  Because there really isn't one.  As for this med, usually the dose for depression is 20mg, but any drug can have side effects and people have very different experiences on them.   The changes you're describing are a common side effect of antidepressants, and more so for young people.
