Lexapro and Prozac

by MissAld, Feb 20, 2007 12:00AM
What are the dangers of mixing Lexapro and Prozac? I am currently taking 20 mg of Lexapro and would like to know what the possible dangers of mixing this dosage with 10 or 20 mg of Prozac are.

I definitely wouldn't do that!  Anna Nicole Smith's son died from a mixture of anti-depressants along with methadone.  I have heard it is bad to mix SSRIs because you can get "serotonin syndrome" which can be dangerous.  Talk to your doctor first.
