Lexapro withdrawl..its finally over!!

Hi! I just wanted to let all of you out there that are thinking of, or, in the process of stopping your Lexapro, that the horrible withdrawl symptoms actually dont last forever!!! Last time I posted here, I was miserable!
I did it wrong, tho, I stopped 10 mg of Lexapro "cold turkey". Dont do it my way! But, I survived. I stopped on April 23rd. Today is May 28th. And I can finally say that except for the few here and there, the worst part ( for me) of the withdrawl symptoms, the "brain zaps" are finally gone. Took over a month, and sometimes they were almost constant. I was so scared and miserable---but today is the first day I can say I think Im totally through the process! Yahoo! So..hang in there....I know everyone is different, but the symptoms WILL go away. Just give it time.

Congratulations on making it through to this point. I understand from reading about Lex that sometimes a bit farther down the road for some there can be a bit of an emotional dip that passes also. Hope all is well and yeah you!
