Licensed professional counseler

I am thinking seriously about going back to school to become a licensed professional counseler.I retire in about 12 years and I was thinking of some way to help others like my bi polar self.
I have been wanting for somtime to bre able to reach out to ohters who are hurting as I was and to let them know they dont have to hurt .That there is hope and they are loved adn cared about.Coming to this forum and reaching out is one way I fouand I can help but I want to do more
So maybe if I go back to school and then whenI retire I can counsel and help others.
So just wanted to put this down out loud.I am going to talk to hubby about it this weekendand get his feedback.Bless him though he is alwasy supportive of me even when I when I am at my most bi polar.lol
