Loss of appetite

When will my appetite return? I stopped taking generic Zoloft less than a week ago and I have no appetite for food. I have to force myself to eat. This bothers me greatly

Increasing activites, exercise are natural things to do to increase your appetite.

If the drug was acting as an appetite stimulant like mirtazapine for example, I would expect you will eventually get your normal appetite but remember that the appetite is relative to the energy you spend during the day.

1 month is usually a safe bet to say the drug won't affect you anymore but everyone is different.

Depends if you want to lose weight.

I stopped taking my medication because my appetite was stimulated and I gained a lot of weight.

After that, I hardly ate for three months, and lost all the weight I had gained.

Then I became extremely ill with depression again, and was put back on the same drug.  It does suit me, but the appetite is now back, and the weight creeping up again.

I do hope you get your appetite back soon.  Have a chat with the doctor, if you can.
